We see this type of promotion quite a bit in recent years. The newest game to feature this is Iron Man. It seems that PS3 and the Xbox 360 will have armor specific to each console. This comes courtesy of IGN.
The 360 will receive the Silver Centurion armor which was first seen in issue 200 when Tony used it in battle against Obadiah Stane, and was worn during his tenure in the West Coast Avengers. The PS3 seems to get a great deal with the Ultimate Iron Man from the comic “The Ultimates”. If you are a fan of comics or the Avengers / Iron Man you should check out the Ultimates..
On a related note, there were two armors I personally wanted to see in this game. It looks as though one has made the cut to help promote the Hulk movie/game coming out this year. The “Hulkbuster” armor is bulkier and stronger than anything Stark has made. It’s only purpose; stop the Incredible Hulk. The Hulkbuster will be seen in both the PS3 and the Xbox 360 when the game is released later this year.
