After much outrage from the community, EA has publicly stated they will no longer be charging for extra weapons in Battlefield: Bad Company. Many sites had written stories to say enough is enough. We won’t stand for this abuse any longer. Well they listened and we feel empowered.
Never one to let a PR opportunity slip by; EA’s John Riccitiello compares EA to Disney, NBC, and CBS. Saying to the Financial Times
“Interactive entertainment is going to determine one great company and I think it’s this one. One of the reasons I’ve come back is to try to take it to the next step.”
Wow, talk about being gutsy. This is coming from the #2 company in the industry. They are still behind Activision.
