The video game, Bioshock, sold in large amounts and has gained a great reputation amongst the Xbox 360 crowd. Now those that own the Playstation 3 have access to this fantastic game and they are enjoying it as well. A highly anticipated sequel is in the works, there have been some leaks so fans of the game are very much looking forward to this release.
There was a fabulous mix of horror, puzzle and shooter in the first game. The sounds were very scary and the levels very dimly lit with a sense of foreboding. Searching through Rapture, an underground metropolis that is all torn up, there are cackles and screams and it seems all is not right.
Forever men haved dreamed of a utopia, a civilization unknown to us, the ultimate place. There was a man who created this perfect environment underneath the sea, which kept it safe from corrupt governments and other scandalized countries. The people there were given ultimate freedom to accomplish anything they desired, their scientists could create any scenario they could imagine.
This is where the player comes in. You find this city and enter this chamber of horrors and must solve the mysteries of Rapture. Just be careful of the mutations that roam the halls and the giant protectors that will rip you to shreds. There are so many enemies, so many dark hallways to explore and so many traps to avoid, Rapture can be a very dangerous place.
Bioshock is a very exciting action game, with great upgrade and weapons systems to enjoyGraphics are incredible and the controls are very intuitive, you can see the power of the PS3. The sequel will surely release to a big audience later this year
