The newest installment of the classic and loved sci-fi series is just hitting theaters and it is a good time to look at the classic releasing on . The newest reboot of the series is getting great reviews and hopefully can live up to the name.

All of the past have been out on for a while but will now be able to be viewed in high definition. It will be fun to see the Enterprise and it’ crew in HD.

The original are fun, but they are not all classics. The first in the series, : The Motion Picture was pretty boring, even for a fan of the series. Overall it was disappointing, but it still got the series going on the big screen so at least it wasnt a total loss. If it wasn’ for that movie, we wouldnt have gotten The Wrath of Kahn, easily the best in the series and a fan favorite. I remember seeing it and being freaked out by those ear worms.

The third movie, Search for Spock was not up to par with number two, but was still a cool movie. Now, we get to the fourth installment, The Voyage , and we get a movie that was much more fun and better than it should have been. A save the whales, peace fest like what was on paper should not have translated into much of anything on the big screen, but the cast was so great and they made something great out of a weird concept. I dont know how they did it, but it worked.

The final were completely different from one another, the fifth one was mediocre, but the sixth returned to the adventure that’ a part of . It had good relationships between the actors, giving a familial feel to the film. Similar to the way the TV series felt, they all had each others back, no matter what issue they were facing.
