Harmonix, the designers behind Rock Band 1 and 2 as well as the original Guitar Hero have managed to recreate 45 Beatles songs from all periods of their career. Users can play on the guitar, bass, drum, or rock out on vocals, karaoke style. From the pleasant pop of songs like “Can’t Buy Me Love” to the heavy guitar riffs of “Revolution” or the unsettling psychedelia of “I Am the Walrus” Beatles fans will find many of their favorite songs available. Gamers can choose to play by themselves, with a group of up to three friends, or online with players from around the world.
Everybody’s favorite Rock band feature will also be available on this new release. you will have the ability to download additional tracks from the Internet, ad XBox 360 users will be able to get a crack at The Beatles: Rock Band DLC. DLC will also be available for Wii and PS3 but they will have to wait patently for this. Game downloads cost the same as all other Rock Band games, therefore you can expect to pay around two or three dollars per each additional song.
There is one difference with The Beatles: Rock Band, that many may see as a drawback to the game. Due to the licensing restriction, you will only be able to play downloadable Beatles tracks with the Beatles game. There is not interactivity allowed with Rock Band 1 and Rock Band 2 tracks. The Beatles tracks will not be able to be downloaded onto your hard drive and you are also not able to utilize other DCL while playing The Beatles: Rock Band.
