Ratchet and Clank have been featured in some of Sony’s best and most popular games over the life of its last two home consoles. There was a very popular trilogy on the PS2 and Clank even got himself his own game on the Sony PSP. The first Transformers movie was a huge hit and so it was natural that the studio would want to cash in on the new found popularity of the franchise. So this month sees the release of the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen on DVD and Blu-ray. So is it better than the first film? It certainly is bigger and louder and filled with even more of the over the top giant robots in disguise action of its predecessor. I don’t think that I can say it was any better, but it was at least as good, for the type of movie that it is. It is an action movie first and foremost and a science fiction story secondly.

The Land of the Lost was at one time, a popular 10970’s television show. Today it has been remade into a film, starring the always funny Will Ferrell. Ferrell plays a scientist that strongly believes in the idea of time travel and eventually finds out the truth. With Ferrell and the entire cast, Land of the Lost takes a new spin on the humor and jinks of the original show, while keeping many similarities for the shows fans.

We see this type of promotion quite a bit in recent years. The newest game to feature this is Iron Man. It seems that PS3 and the Xbox 360 will have armor specific to each console. This comes courtesy of IGN.
